Affiliations

The Menzies Institute for Medical Research is an institute of the University of Tasmania. Menzies works in close collaboration with the College of Health and Medicine and the School of Medicine.

The Menzies Foundation supported the establishment of the Menzies Centre for Population Health Research in 1988 and continues its support to this day.

The Tasmanian Government has recognised Menzies' status, achievements and place in the Tasmanian community by awarding the Institute Icon status under the Department of State Growth.
The Icons Program showcases the very best that Tasmania has to offer, nationally and internationally. The Menzies Institute for Medical Research is one of three Tasmanian Icons recognised under the program.
