Economics: Palmer Group

We are developing an extensive research, teaching and learning program aimed at building health economics research capacity and providing skills for people working in the health sector. We seek to guide research methodology through undertaking, promoting and facilitating high quality health economics research.

Professor Andrew Palmer is a member of the core teaching team for the Introduction to Health Economics and the Practical Methods in Health Economics courses run in conjunction with the University of Melbourne in Melbourne, Hobart and China. He has established a team of post-doc researchers and PhD students to address numerous key questions of health resource allocation.
